Cer Loft stands as the only project from Türkiye to win the prestigious “Low-Rise Residential Project” award at The Plan Award—and it does so with quiet distinction. Nestled beside the storied Yedikule Fortress, this exclusive development embraces the principles of horizontal architecture and comprises just 36 loft-style residences, each echoing with the grandeur of history.

Bringing new life to the historic Cer Workshops—where railway vehicles were maintained and repaired as far back as 1871—Cer Loft transforms the spirit of the past into a timeless architectural masterpiece. With natural wood and stone details that reflect elegance and permanence, the project upholds a design language that harmonizes with the surrounding skyline. The original historic buildings have been meticulously restored with period-sensitive aesthetics and reimagined as refined modern living spaces.  

Once a hub for the disassembly, repair, and assembly of locomotives and wagons for more than a century, the Cer Workshops have now been redefined as sophisticated loft homes. The 150-year-old walls, the untouched exterior façade, and even the original rail systems embedded in the ground floors remain intact—each preserved in its original position.
